Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Round 2

Included among the $900 billion COVID relief within the Consolidated Appropriations Act signed into law on December 27, 2020, was reauthorization and modification of the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP): new PPP loans for businesses that did not already receive a PPP loan AND a second round of PPP funding for businesses who received funding from the first round.

Second round PPP applications became active on Monday, January 11, 2021, for some entities (e.g., veteran-owned, woman-owned, minority-owned, etc.). Applications are scheduled to be open for everyone as early as tomorrow, January 13. Contact your lender for more information.

A topline overview of the first PPP draw, the second draw, and more detailed information can be found on the Treasury website.
