Please join us in welcoming Mark Eyestone and Becky Hodapp to the LSWG team.

Mark Eyestone has accepted the position of CAS staff accountant in the Frederick Client Accounting Services Department after completing a 6-month student internship at LSWG.  He is responsible for providing accounting and tax support to the firm’s business, nonprofit, and individual clients.  Mark’s diverse background includes studying broadcast journalism and several years in the agriculture industry as an organic farmer.  He is a graduate of Frederick Community College where he earned an Associate of Arts degree in accounting in 2019, and is currently enrolled at the University of Maryland University College where he is majoring in accounting.  Originally from Burlington, Colorado, Mark and his wife, Tori, currently reside in Sabillasville where he enjoys gardening, hiking, nature photography, and playing the mandolin.

Rebekah (“Becky”) Hodapp has joined LSWG’s Rockville Audit Department as a staff accountant where she assists with audits, reviews, and compilations for LSWG’s small business, municipal, and nonprofit clients.  A 2018 graduate of Brigham Young University-Idaho with a B.S. degree in accounting, Becky spent two of her summers interning for a large, DC-based CPA firm specializing in nonprofits.  Becky loves photography, posts regularly to Instagram, and is an integral member of LSWG’s social media group.  Originally from South Africa, Becky moved to the U.S. with her parents when she was six and grew up in Montgomery County.  She and her husband, Spencer, and their son, Hendrik, currently reside in Poolesville.

…and please join us in congratulating Janelle Luckenbaugh, CPA, and Angela Murphy, CPA, who were recently promoted.

Janelle Luckenbaugh, CPA, has been promoted to manager in LSWG’s Frederick office.  She joined LSWG in early 2014 as a supervisor and has over 10 years of public accounting experience, performing audits, reviews, and compilations, as well as tax preparation for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.  Specializing in audits of employee benefit plans, Janelle is a member of the Maryland Association of CPAs and has obtained the Intermediate Employee Benefits Plans Audit Certificate from the AICPA. Originally from Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, Janelle currently resides in Frederick.

Angela Murphy, CPA, has been promoted to manager in LSWG’s Frederick office.  She joined LSWG in 2005 as a staff accountant and has over 20 years of public accounting experience.  She provides tax, financial reporting, accounting, and payroll support to the firm’s business, nonprofit, and individual clients.  Angela is a member of the Maryland Association of CPAs and the Accounting Program Advisory Committee for Frederick Community College. An avid hockey fan and player, Angela serves as secretary of the Mid-Atlantic Women’s Hockey League.  She is originally from Dixon, Illinois, and currently resides in Jefferson with her husband, Douglas.
