“We don’t just work here; we live here, too!”

The “Bunion Brothers” of LSWG Walked-a-Mile in Their Shoes in support of Heartly House and their mission to provide resources and counseling to survivors of abuse and human trafficking.

Serving the community that is the foundation of our firm is not just what we do; it is who we are. Contributions—monetary, in-kind, and volunteer support—are made through firm donations and personally by individual principals and staff. Firm-coordinated volunteer efforts include:

  • Food bank, school supplies, and coat drives
  • On-site accounting support for Alive @ Five (Downtown Frederick Partnership’s Happy Hour on the Creek fundraiser)
  • Bell-ringing for the Salvation Army
  • Serving lunch at The Frederick Rescue Mission
  • Salvation Army Angel Tree “Adopt-a-Family”
  • United Way Day of Caring
  • Firm-wide participation in United Way’s Annual Campaign
Supporting Frederick Rescue Mission’s Faith House (making a batch of “no sew” blankets to donate).

Among LSWG’s principals and staff are rotary members, coaches of youth sports, Boy and Girl Scout leaders, volunteer fire company members, church leaders, and current or former presidents, chairs, and officers of many local civic organizations, including:
