Stuff The Bus 2018

The yellow school bus stopped by LSWG early on Wednesday, August 15.

LSWG got onboard the yellow school bus with several bins of school supplies for the United Way of Frederick County’s 10th Annual Stuff the Bus campaign.  LSWG’s office manager, Kathaleen Lucey, coordinated this year’s effort which garnered quite a haul–including 200 number 2 pencils.

Stuff the Bus is a partnership between United Way of Frederick County, area businesses, and community partners to provide Frederick County school children in need with school supplies. United Way of Frederick County’s Stuff the Bus program is responsible for collecting over 70,000 individual school supplies providing over 4,000 students a better opportunity to learn.

LSWG is happy to help.

LSWG co-managing principal, Barbara Roman, and supervisor, Janelle Luckenbaugh help load the last of the supply bins.
Gathered in the lobby of LSWG’s Frederick office to collect supplies are (front row): LSWG’ers Janelle Luckenbaugh and Barbara Roman; United Way volunteers, Kendra Sasse, Emily Ward, and Carol King; and United Way Director of Advancement, Amanda Holk. In the back row are LSWG’ers David Laramore and Jon Holmes.
