LSWG Wishes You “Happy Holidays!”

May you enjoy warm memories with loved ones, and may the spirit of the holiday season fill your hearts.

With the assistance of the Salvation Army, the spirit of the holiday season was in our hearts here at LSWG when we “adopted” two families with the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree/Adopt-a-Family program and took a turn with the Red Kettle Brigade.

For over five years, LSWG administrative assistant and Frederick office receptionist, Maura Rouch, has coordinated the gift-giving for our “adopted” families–ensuring that wish lists are fulfilled and delivering the toys, clothing, and gift cards to the Salvation Army.

Office manager, Kathaleen Lucey, rallies the troops for participation in the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Brigade–ensuring that each hour’s shift is covered from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. In turn, LSWG staff members rally friends and family members to join them and keep the bells ringing. This year, the kettle for which LSWG was steward yielded $557.40 from those dimes, quarters, and dollar bill donations. Look for them each year on the first Saturday of December in front of Sam’s Club in Frederick.

Staff accountants Adam Eisenstadt, Charles Ausherman, and Billy Harper help Maura load her “sleigh” with toys, boots, coats and other goodies that she will deliver to the Salvation Army for LSWG’s “adopted” families.
Representing LSWG on the Red Kettle Brigade are Jeanne Hall and her grandson, Jackson, Ellen and David Laramore, Maura and Jim Rouch.
Brooks and Nikki Dierman, Emily Heffner, and Marcia Fortunato kept the spirit going.
Team work makes the dream work, and Billy Harper, David Wolford, and Charles Ausherman were testament to that.
Tracy Lepine and Linda and Scott Keyser kept things festive.

Wishing you a season of peace and joy!

May the joys of the season lead the way to a bright and prosperous New Year!
