Wednesday, April 15, 2020 – Not everything in the news at LSWG is related to COVID-19. LSWG is please to announce the addition of two new staff members who joined our firm earlier this year.

Julissa Canas has joined LSWG’s Frederick Audit & Tax Department where she assists with tax preparation and audits of the firm’s individual, business, and nonprofit clients. She is a 2019 graduate of East Carolina University College of Business, where she earned a B.S. in business administration and accounting. Fluent in Spanish, Julissa was born in Montgomery County, raised in Frederick County (she is a graduate of Linganore High School) and currently resides in New Market.
Luke Lebherz has also joined LSWG’s Frederick Audit & Tax Department where he assists with tax preparation and audits of the firm’s individual, business, and nonprofit clients. Prior to joining LSWG, Luke served three years in the U.S. Army where he earned four Army achievement medals, two Army commendation medals, and a NATO Campaign medal. After his military service, he returned to school and civilian life—working most recently in the banking industry. A Frederick County native, he is a May 2020 candidate for a B.S. in accounting and minor in business at Mount St. Mary’s University. Luke and his wife, Carly, reside in Frederick where he enjoys kayaking, fly fishing, and BBQ’ing (a self-proclaimed expert) in his spare time.
