JON C. HOLMES, CPA, JOINS LSWG

 LSWG is pleased to announce that Jon C. Holmes, CPA, has joined the firm as a manager in the Frederick office.

Mr. Holmes has over 10 years of public accounting experience, having served as a tax manager at a big four, international firm; and most recently as a senior tax manager for a regional firm where he managed a substantial government contractor client base.  A specialist in individual, partnership, corporate, and multi-state taxation, he has served on an international tax rotation to Munich, Germany, and spent two years as a national tax instructor.  Mr. Holmes is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and a magna cum laude graduate of the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Blacksburg, Virginia, where he earned an M.S. in accounting and information systems in 2004, a B.S. in accounting and information systems in 2003, worked as a teacher’s assistant, and was recognized as the Top Masters Degree Student in 2004.  A native of Frederick County, Mr. Holmes lives in Mt. Airy where he is a member of the Mount Airy Volunteer Fire Company.
